THE  ALL-IN  LIFE
VISION FROM PASTOR K.PAUL

To be challenged by all that God continues to call us to - to step out of our comfort zones and into a place of growth.
In 2024, we are challenging our church to go ALL IN! Living an ALL-IN life is giving God 100% of whatever we do. Are you ready to go ALL IN with your time, talents, and treasures?

Colossians 3:17
And whatever you do, whether in word or deed,
do it ALL IN the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

No matter where you are with your faith, we can always grow deeper in our relationship with Jesus.

Meet the Cramer Family

Meet the Cramer Family.
"Going ALL IN means putting Christ first and seeking out His best in all areas of our lives. In our family it has meant using our time, talents, money, and actions for the glory of God. We have found ways to serve at Avalon that go well with the abilities God has given each of us. Whether that means serving Avalon's youth in various ways, or going deeper with our small group, we recognize the people and places God has put in our lives and try to treat them like the good gifts they are!

Some of the greatest results of going ALL IN are the new people God has placed in our path through these experiences. We come to see more and more that the treasures that are most valuable in this life are the people God gives us, and investing in relationships where we encourage, challenge, and uplift one another will never be time wasted. We truly are better together and it is amazing to see what happens when the body of Christ works as one!

I think going ALL IN is the best investment you can make with your time or resources. God is a generous Father Who will lavish His goodness on you through many different ways. If you're ready to experience Him fully, going ALL IN is the only way to go!"
-Mary Cramer

The Cramer family are a perfect example of what it means to not just go ALL IN in one area but to actually life the ALL-IN LIFE. From the day they joined Avalon in 2023, their entire family jumped in and joined a small group, served at our Back-to-School Bash, Fall Fest, Jingle Jam, Sunday School, Reach the Fort, Avalon Food Pantry, Winter Blast, Easter Jam, VBS, Camp Blast, and more.  Mary teaches Sunday school and Ben leads a boys small group in Avalon Youth.  They don't just give their time; they invest in relationships.  Leading by example, you will find all three kids serving alongside them at many special events, engaged in youth group, quizzing, and Sunday school.  Through all of this, the relationships that are forming are a testament of what God does when people serve side by side for the Kingdom.

"I already can't imagine not meeting the families and people that we have met this past year. I treasure having all of them in our lives and can't wait to see how those relationships continue to grow! " - Mary Cramer

Meet Raul & Jacob

Meet Raul and Jacob.
This father-son painting duo has dedicated countless hours to painting our sanctuary at our main campus, as well as refreshing the beautiful chapel at our West Campus, breathing new life into a special, sentimental space for so many at Avalon. In addition to their busy schedules and running their own painting business, Raul and Jacob have made Avalon a priority, often working many nights beautifying our campus and restoring special spaces to so many! Thank you Raul and Jacob for going ALL IN at Avalon! We appreciate you!

Meet Meadow

"Going to worship and serving the Lord is a huge part of my life and always has been since I was a kid. Like everyone does, I went through some really dark times in my life. There was a point in time where it felt like everything was crumbling, but God is the one thing that did not crumble. If it wasn’t for being ALL IN I probably wouldn’t have became the person I am today. Now I serve through him to show him to those in their darkest moments in life and get to see people’s lives change with him the way mine did.

Since I have gone ALL IN, I believe that is the way that Zach (my husband) and I have truly connected. My faith has always been extremely important to me and finding someone that is the perfect person for me I truly believe is because of this all-in life. We got baptized this past Easter which was a way to symbolize us starting our marriage out right through being all with God and putting him in the center of it.

The ALL IN life I believe looks different for every person. I feel that sharing stories like these are some of the most encouraging ways for people to go into the ALL-IN LIFE. There is never going to be the perfect way to go ALL IN with God, which I think is the way it’s meant to be."

Meet Isabella

Isabella has been serving as a leader in Praise Kids for two years. She volunteers at VBS, and often sings on the worship team.

"An ALL IN life for me is surrendering my biggest desires and greatest fears to God and living a life of sacrificial love for others, like  focusing up to God and out to the community instead of dwelling on me and my problems/wants.

I feel called to dedicate my time to loving people fully, especially children. I have been called to use my musical talents to help do that as well as use them to lead others to Christ through worship.

Since going all in, I have felt a general overwhelming sense of peace I hadn’t felt in my entire life. Sure I still have anxiety and stress from time to time, but it seems fully manageable now because God has control even when it feels like there is no solution. I have also felt less pressure as a Christian to be perfect, or seem perfect, but instead to walk more like Christ everyday.

For me, it took a final push of an idolized relationship in my life being taken away, but it was an active choice I made to choose Jesus as my solution. It’s really easy to want to try other worldly things, but nothing will satisfy the God-sized hole in your heart. We were designed to be loved by Him and to love Him and others in return. So my encouragement for going all in is knowing it is a choice, not an easy one, but one that turned my life for the better and brought my joy back."
