LOCAL
We believe that church missions begins inside our community. God placed us in south Fort Wayne to love and serve our neighbors. We do this through our ministry Reach the Fort, a mentorship program with Fort Wayne Community Schools, and the Avalon Food Pantry that serves our neighbors every Thursday night. Every summer Avalon Youth participates in a week long Serve the Fort, where they participate in local mission work to serve their community. You can find out more about our local missions here.
REGIONAL
Avalon is proud to partner with Samaritan's Purse to serve in regional disaster relief efforts. Avalon Youth also participates in an annual regional summer mission trip. You can find out how you can get involved with regional outreach right here!
INTERNATIONAL
Our partnership at Horizon International brings our church family together with the children of Matswee, South Africa through sponsorship opportunities. We also financially and prayerfully support missionaries across the globe through our church body and through the support and coordination of our International Ministry Team.
