SERVE OPPORTUNITY

Make a Local Impact—Serve with Kinder Camp!
Join Avalon’s International Ministries Team on Friday, June 27 for a one-day opportunity to love and serve young refugee children right here in Fort Wayne. We’ll be partnering with International House to host a fun and meaningful Kinder Camp—complete with crafts, stories, and play—for kids from Afghanistan, Burma, and several African nations.
This is a great way for individuals and families to step into cross-cultural ministry and see how God is at work through simple acts of kindness. Snacks and lunch are provided, and modest dress is required. Come be a part of something bigger—no passport needed!

The International Ministries Team consists of three missionary couples who have spent significant time on the international mission field. They exist to help support and connect our international missionaries to the church body while encouraging an atmosphere of prayer, support, and connection with our missionaries. This team also provides a place for anyone interested in international missions to engage in conversations that help guide them to the mission and calling they feel that God is leading them to.

Every Christmas, Iglesia Avalon collects shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child.  Samaritan’s Purse sends gift-filled Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes to children in need right here in America and around the world along with the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
