Avalon is proud to partner with Samaritan's Purse as a host sight for 1 of 60 Disaster Relief Vehicles across the country that will be equipped and ready at a moment's notice to be deployed by Avalon drivers to serve in disaster relief efforts across our region. Every Christmas Iglesia Avalon collects shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child.  Samaritan’s Purse sends gift-filled Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes to children in need right here in America and around the world along with the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Avalon Youth spent a week this summer serving in Chicago.  Partnering with a local inner city church, our students were able to help lead worship, beautify their property, serve food at a shelter, and other projects that led them out of their normal comfort zones and into a place that allowed them to see how they can reach their world with the love of Jesus in new and exciting ways.
